Amber Note
Amber
Warmth you can wear.
What is it?
Amber in perfumery is an accord, not an ingredient — usually labdanum, benzoin and vanilla.
Where it comes from
Labdanum from Mediterranean rockrose; benzoin from Southeast Asian resin.
What it smells like
Golden, resinous, sweet, faintly powdery and balsamic.
In perfume
Amber is a base-note glow. It stretches longevity and adds a candlelit warmth to almost anything.
